The Kwame Nkrumah Masoleum and memorial park (KNMP) is a national monument dedicated to the first President, Kwame Nkrumah. It is dedicated to him for his outstanding campaign to liberate Ghana (former Gold Coast) from colonial rule in 6th March, 1957. It is located in downtown Accra, the capital of Ghana.

Kakum National Park is a national park in Ghana; it is located to the north of Cape Coast and Elmina near the small town of Abrafo in the Central Region. The entire area is covered with tropical rainforest. It contains rare species like endangered Mona-meerkat, pygmy elephants, forest buffalo, civet cats and a several birds. It is the home of the Canopy Walkway, which is offers direct access to the wildlife. The Canopy Walkway spans 7 bridges and runs over a length of 330 m (1,100 ft) and 40 m (130 ft) high.

“Kente” also known as nwentoma, is a royal cloth that originated from the Akan people. It is a pan-African symbol and the town of Bonwire makes claim to the origin of the art of kente weaving. It is a must see spot.
